Down’s upside

Have you ever met a person with down syndrome? No? Well you should, because they are the most happy people I know. In Holland there’s a big exposition about children with down syndrome, called ‘Down’s upside’.

The exposition is part of a book that’s called ‘The upside of down’. In the book there’s 101 pictures of children with down syndrome. All these pictures are amazingly beautiful! Now there’s not only a book, there’s also an exposition (travelling trough Holland) and an organisation with the same name. All to make clear that there is, most certainly, an upside of down.

The exhibition just closed in Apeldoorn, and is now moving to Den Bosch (Check the website of Upside of down to keep up with any news), but the book is still very much available (here). Just to show you a little bit, here are some of the pictures. Don’t you just love them?!

  1. Hello:

Please tell me how I can purchase a hard cover book, and have it shipped to me in Canada.

    Thank you

    • Hi Ian, you can buy the book here, but it does cost you a lot of money to get it send to Canada (around €17,-). Good luck! Marit
